Our Studio

Body Evolve has a 20-year history in the North Shore having first opened its doors in Highland Park in 1998. The studio attributes it’s longevity, success and excellent reputation to highly knowledgeable instructors and personal attention to the individual client. All instructors are certified in Pilates and many have extensive backgrounds in dance, health and exercise. Our instructors have worked alongside physical therapists and are acutely aware of the unique needs of patients recovering from injury, athletes optimizing performance, and restoring the body to correct alignment and optimal health.

Arlene Bass - Founder

Arlene, Founder and Director of Body Evolve Pilates, has had a strong interest in movement and health and wellness her entire life. Now, 20 years later, in a 2,400 square foot sunlit, window filled space, Arlene remains focused on dedicating her passion for Pilates and healing movement to all ages of clients in the community. Through the Instructor Training Program, with five Master Instructors on staff, Arlene manages one of the largest Balanced Body Authorized Training Centers in the country.
